SesaHomes
Introduction
My name is Ryan.

I'm 26 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to build a business that reflects both my creativity and my heritage. That dream led to the creation of Sesahomes — a brand rooted in identity, storytelling, and a desire to create something meaningful that I can truly be proud of.
Why?
Growing up, I always struggled with where I fit in when it came to identity. Being second-generation British from Caribbean immigrants, I’ve never fully felt comfortable calling myself Caribbean. But I also noticed there’s often a negative stigma around calling yourself British when you’re Black, especially from other Black people.
I’ve become really proud of who I am — proud of both my nationality and my heritage. I love how we, as Black people, have come to Britain and created our own culture, blending Caribbean and African influences to build our version of being British.

But it doesn’t just stop with us. I’ve realised so many other immigrant communities share a similar experience — whether you’re Indian, Chinese, Polish, Greek, Turkish, or part of the wider mix of cultures that make up modern Britain, especially for people like me, who are a few generations deep.
We’re all different, but we’re also the same in so many ways — and that’s something I think is really special. I love how we can all call ourselves British while still holding on to our heritage and identities.
Sesa is my way of creating something that reflects that in-between — a brand that celebrates change, culture, and identity.
